1962 ford thunderbird convtible for sale11/7/2023 Cosmetic: The car was painted about two years ago, it'a nice and shiny. No leaks from anywhere, garage floor always dry when I pull her out. The swing-away steering wheel works, but the car will only start in neutral (Ebay sells a kit to repair the neutral safety switch on these cars, it's a common issue). The car has recently been gone through mechanically and runs and drives well. The gas gauge and horn work, as do the wipers and lights. The heater works, the AM radio is intermittent and the clock does not work. I don't have documentation for the motor rebuild but for most of everything else, including a transmission rebuild. I was told the motor has about 30k on it, it having been rebuilt by the in the late 90's. Included documentation goes back many years, showing the 67k as original mileage. Recent work includes tuneup, brakes, water pump and radiator as well as belts and hoses. These second generation 61-63 'Birds are steadily climbing in value, and the ahead-of-its-time style is finally being appreciated."
